Kuwaiti Indian Restaurant : The administration in Kuwait has discovered a ‘secret restaurant’. This restaurant was being run by an Indian citizen. A lot of customers were also coming to it, but due to the social media platform TikTok, its secret was revealed. Actually, an Indian citizen was running this restaurant inside a residential building in Salmiya, Kuwait. Government approval was not taken for this. Despite this, the owner of the restaurant ran an advertisement on TikTok, after seeing which the police and local administration got information about this illegal restaurant. After the raid, the police caught the owner along with the employees and sent them to India.

The video went viral on social media
According to a Gulf News report, the restaurant was exposed when its owner ran an advertisement to attract Indian customers. For this, a video was filmed about the establishment on TikTok and an Indian TikTok celebrity was hired for promotion. After the video was broadcast, the advertisement inadvertently went to the Kuwaiti Ministry of Commerce, after which the video went viral on social media. Many Kuwaiti bloggers also shared it. At the same time, many people also commented about the owners’ mistake in revealing the secret location of the restaurant.

The restaurant was running illegally
According to Gulf News, this restaurant was running illegally, due to which the Kuwaiti Ministry of Commerce took action against it. Only after this the Kuwaiti police raided the restaurant. During the inspection, the officers found many violations. The report said that government subsidized items were being sold in the restaurant. Safety rules were not being followed. There was a widespread smell of gas in the apartment. Due to this, the restaurant was ordered to be closed and its employees were sent to Salmiya Police Station. The rest were sent to India for violating local laws.
