Motorola 5G Update: Motorola has announced a partnership with Reliance Jio to give users a “True 5G” service experience. The company said in a release that the company is rolling out an update for the smartphone to unlock Jio’s stand-alone (SA) 5G technology. Currently, Jio’s 5G services are available in a few cities in India. Jio is offering a “Welcome Offer” through which you can sign up for its 5G services for free. Meanwhile, Bharti Airtel is also engaged in expanding its 5G Plus services across India. Apart from this, other companies like One Plus, Samsung etc. are also providing 5G facility in their phones. At the same time, iPhone has also given 5G support in its phone. The list with 5G support includes iPhone 14 Series, iPhone 13 Series, iPhone SE Series and iPhone 12 Series.
These smartphones will support Jio 5G
Not all users of Motorola will be able to take advantage of 5G. Only a few smartphones have 5G support. This includes Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, Motorola Edge 30 Fusion, Motorola G62 5G, Motorola Edge 30, Motorola G82 5G, Motorola Edge 30 Pro, Motorola G71 5G, Motorola G51 5G, Motorola Edge 20 and Motorola Edge 20.
Airtel 5G will also be supported
There is also news that the above mentioned Motorola models will also support Airtel’s 5G Plus service. Let us tell you that Airtel has started its 5G services in Delhi, Indore, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Siliguri, Nagpur, Varanasi, Panipat, Gurugram, Guwahati, Patna, Lucknow, Shimla, Imphal, Ahmedabad, Vizag and Pune. In addition, Reliance Jio’s 5G services will be available in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Varanasi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Nathdwara, Kochi, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Guntur, Tirumala, Bhopal, Indore, Lucknow, Trivandrum, Mysore, Nashik and Available in Aurangabad. Jio’s 5G is also available in Mohali, Panchkula, Zirakpur, Kharar, Derabassi and all 33 district headquarters of Gujarat.
How to use 5G services of Jio and Airtel?
Signing up for 5G services of Airtel and Jio is very easy. Customers have to see that their smartphone is running on the latest Android OS or iOS version. In case of Airtel, users just have to enable 5G network on their devices. In Jio, users have to open the MyJio app, and sign up for the “Welcome Offer”. Both companies are providing 5G service for free. For this, users do not even need to change their SIM card.
