Applications for SSC MTS and Havildar exam will start today i.e. 27 June 2024 and the last date to apply is 31 July 2024 is. Fill the form in the format mentioned before this date. How much will the fee be
To apply for SSC MTS and Havildar exam, candidates of General and OBC category will have to pay ₹ 100 fee. On the other hand, candidates of SC, ST, Ex-Serviceman category do not have to pay any fee.
Who can apply
Tenth pass candidates can apply for the SSC MTS post. Candidates who are giving the tenth exam this year can also fill the form but the condition is that if they are selected, they must have a tenth pass certificate at the time of document verification. Along with this, it is necessary that the candidate is at least 18 years old. Talking about the SSC Havildar post, only tenth pass candidates can apply.
Appointments are made to these positions
Know that SSC MTS is a national level exam in which a large number of candidates participate every year. After selection, candidates are appointed in various departments on non-gazetted, non-ministerial posts of Central Service Group. This is a Government of India job in which after getting selected, the candidate gets a salary ranging from 5 thousand to 20 to 30 thousand rupees according to the post.
If we talk about the posts, then after passing the MTS exam, the candidate can work on some of these posts. Like Havildar, Safai Wala, Sweeper, Chowkidar, Gardener. After the exam, the cut off is released separately for all these posts.
The exam is conducted in two phases
While for the SSC MTS post, candidates have to give the first stage exam i.e. only computer based exam, for the Havildar post, PEI or PST exam is also conducted. It is conducted offline and only after passing it, the selection of the candidate is finalized. Know that every year at least 25 to 30 lakh candidates apply for this exam. The first exam i.e. written paper is in English, Hindi and also in 13 regional languages.
