On Friday, the body of a student was found hanging with a belt on a dry tree near the hostel of Raj School located in Tikari police station area of Gaya district. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police of Tikari police station reached the spot and started investigating the matter. During the investigation, blood stains were found near a room in the hostel of Raj School. The deceased student was identified as Roshan Kumar, 16-year-old son of Shatrughan Das, a resident of Kaiyataand village of Konch police station area.
It is being told that the tenth class student of Tikari Raj School used to study in a rented house in the cantonment area. Last Thursday, after studying in coaching, he came home at six in the evening and went out. When he did not reach home till late night, the family started searching for him. On Friday morning, the family found the body of student Roshan hanging with the help of a belt on a dry tree near the hostel of the said school.
They are demanding the arrest of the accused by blocking the road
On getting information about the incident, the family got angry. They blocked the Gaya-Tikari main road with the body of the student. They expressed suspicion of the student’s murder. Angry people are demanding justice for Roshan. They say that the police should take this matter seriously and arrest the murderer. The deceased student’s father Shatrughan Das says that after the murder, the body was tied with a belt and hung from a tree. The police of Tikari police station pacified the angry people by convincing them and removed the road blockade. The police took the student’s body in their custody and sent it to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital for postmortem.
The school’s hostel campus has become a den of drug addicts
The hostel of Raj School has become a den of drug addicts these days as it is vacant. Local people say that anti-social elements gather there every night. However, the police is investigating all the angles. During the police investigation, student Roshan’s mobile was recovered from near a room of the hostel, at that time a song was playing on the mobile phone. The police also found many blood stains at that place.
