Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will today honour the toppers of high school and intermediate in a function organised by Amar Ujala. The toppers of UP Board, Sanskrit Education Council, CBSE and CISCE will participate in the function to be organised at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Gomti Nagar. During the function, the Chief Minister will also interact with these toppers. In this, the toppers will get a chance to ask questions to the Chief Minister.

In the felicitation ceremony, 17 meritorious students of UP Board High School, 36 of Intermediate, 11 of Sanskrit Education Council High School, 11 of Intermediate, 30 of High School and 17 of Intermediate of Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination and 26 of High School and 22 of Intermediate of Central Board of Secondary Education will be felicitated.

This ceremony will also be organized at all the district headquarters. In it, meritorious students from the first six to ten positions of the respective district will be awarded. 25 meritorious students of Lucknow district will be honored along with the state level felicitation ceremony. During the district level ceremony to be held across the state, a total of 514 meritorious students from sixth to tenth position of UP Board and 1201 district level meritorious students of Sanskrit Education Council will be honored.

The ceremony will be organized by the Secondary Education Department in Lok Bhavan

Before the Amar Ujala function, an award ceremony will be organized by the Secondary Education Department in Lok Bhavan on Saturday morning. In this ceremony, the Chief Minister will award Rs 1 lakh each, a tablet, a citation and a medal to the meritorious students.

During this, the money for uniforms, shoes, socks, dresses and school bags etc. given to school children by the Chief Minister will be sent directly to the accounts of the children’s parents. Inauguration of various school buildings, inauguration of 165 upgraded Kasturba Gandhi Girls Inter College buildings, distribution of NCERT pattern books, inauguration of additional classrooms and auditoriums in 53 districts will also be done during the ceremony.
