Pakistan’s team has scored 407 runs in their first innings at the loss of 9 wickets. Pakistan is currently 42 runs behind New Zealand in the first innings. Young batsman Saud Shakeel is unbeaten after playing a century and all the hopes of Pakistan rest on him.
On the third day, Pakistan extended their innings by 154 runs at the loss of 3 wickets. Imam-ul-Haq, the unbeaten batsman of the second day, once again missed completing the century and scored an inning of 83 runs.
