A student studying in class 5 of Gyan Bharti School of Darbhanga is missing since the morning of 29th June. For the last three days, the family has been searching for the child on their own and has been tired but no information about the child has been found. Tired of searching, the child’s family has lodged an FIR in the University Police Station. It is said that on the morning of 29th January, Ankur Kumar, 11 years old, went to school wearing his school dress as usual but he wore black shoes instead of white shoes. Due to this, the school guard asked him to go back home but he has not returned home till date. The family searched for him a lot. But, on not being able to find anything, they have appealed for the safe return of their child by giving an application in the University Police Station.

Umashankar Yadav’s missing son Ankur Kumar is a resident of Ghoghardiha block of Madhubani district. He has two brothers who study in a rented house at JP Chowk in Lakshmisagar Mohalla of Darbhanga. Father Umashankar Yadav said that he has two sons whom he has kept in a rented house for studies. His elder son studies in Intermediate while younger son Ankur studies in class 5 in Gyan Bharti School. His elder son informed about his disappearance. He first approached the school administration. The school administration checked the CCTV footage installed in the premises and the school guard was also questioned. He told that he was sent back home because he was wearing black shoes instead of white ones.
The child will be recovered safely soon.
In this regard, University Police Station Head Sudhir Kumar said that an FIR has been registered on the application of the missing child’s father. The matter is being investigated. The search for the child is going on with the help of CCTV and other means. The child will be recovered safely soon.
