NEET UG Re Exam 2024 Result Declared None of the candidates secured 720 marks from toppers NTA

NEET UG Re-Test Result 2024 Declared: The controversy that started regarding the NEET UG exam is not stopping. It is also affecting other national level exams. The result of the CUET UG exam has also not been released on its scheduled date. Meanwhile, among the candidates who gave the NEET UG re-test, the candidates who topped the earlier result could not score full marks in the re-test. Although not all the candidates had decided to take the exam again, the result of those who gave the exam was like this.

The exam was conducted for so many candidates

Let us tell you that NEET UG re-test was conducted again for those 1563 candidates who were given grace marks. Due to these grace marks, many candidates became toppers. The debate on this issue has not stopped yet.

Meanwhile, candidates raised questions on 67 students becoming toppers and demanded cancellation of the exam. However, NTA said that this issue is only of 1563 students who have been given grace marks and not of 24 lakh candidates who appeared in the exam. With this intention, the exam was conducted again for them and only 813 candidates took the re-test.

How were the results

The marks of these candidates have not been revealed yet, but if media reports are to be believed, none of the toppers who appeared for the re-test have scored 720 out of 720 marks this time. 813 candidates appeared for the re-test, out of which five had got full marks in the previous result. However, it is being said that none of these five have scored full marks in this year’s result.

The number of toppers decreased

Thus, while a total of 67 candidates topped the NEET UG results released earlier, the number of toppers has come down to 61 after the results released this time. However, this number is still much higher than the previous years. The exam was conducted again for those candidates who were given grace marks due to lack of time.

Some candidates decided to appear in the exam, while some removed the grace marks and continued with the marks they had obtained. Everyone was given the option to either remove the grace marks and continue with the remaining score or appear for the exam again.
