Ride sharing company Ola not only provides cab service to the people but is also a well-known electric scooter manufacturing hub. Meanwhile, the company is working on its own digital navigation system. Currently, Ola operates through ‘Map My India’. But in the coming time, Ola will work with its own map. The company’s CEO Bhavish Aggarwal told in a tweet that Ola Map is currently under testing, which will go live in the coming times. That is, after this, the company will use its own in-house map on all Ola products. In this map, people will get all the important information including fuel stations, charging points, NH, restaurants etc.
The company will also add charging stations for electric vehicles, current working status of chargers, service centers etc. to its mapping service so that people can get help from it. Similar technology has also been used by Tesla so that the experience of the people on the road can be improved.
