Such was Sumant’s life
Sumant, who cleared the IIM Lucknow exam, has not had an easy life. His father is a truck driver. He earns just enough to pay the house rent, due to which the family’s financial condition is always in a mess. The situation is sometimes so bad that they have to sleep on an empty stomach. Despite this, Sumant has fulfilled his father’s dream, which was not letting him sleep for many years.
Papa also gave full support
Sumant Naga’s father Subbarayudu Ganmaddula left no stone unturned to make his son successful. He spent his entire life on a truck to run his household and with its help never let his son’s studies get affected. Naga Sumant’s success would never have been possible without his father’s hard work. Let us tell you that Sumant’s mother Lakshmi is a teacher in a primary school.
Papa’s struggle gave courage
Sumant says that he has seen the struggles of his father. He used to stay away from us for many days during the harvesting season. Naga was a promising student from the beginning. He continuously received scholarships from class 5 to graduation. He also received scholarships for engineering studies. Sumant, who has done B.Tech from IIIT Srikakulam, says that his father’s struggles gave him courage in his life.
This is how the inclination towards MBA happened
Sumant had secured 8.8 CGPA in engineering. While he had secured 9.8 CGPA in 10th and 8.8 CGPA in 12th class. The story of Sumant’s interest in the field of management is also very interesting. In the last semester of engineering studies, he enrolled in the Data Science and Programming course of IIT Madras. Where he came to know about CAT, the exam for admission in Indian Institute of Management. By studying for 12 hours every day, his marks remained around 97 percent. Mathematics is one of his number 1 strengths. Sumant gives the credit of his success to his uncle. He says that he has also done MBA and he has also helped him financially when needed.
This is Sumant’s first objective
Sumant’s first target is to improve the financial condition of the family. He says that he has a lot of ideas, but he needs experience. IIM Lucknow’s Student Affairs Chairperson Priyanka Sharma has also expressed happiness. She told that special support is given to students coming from EWS quota, which includes financial aid scholarship etc.
