A woman inspector died in a horrific road accident on NH-27 near Futaniganj in Sidhavaliya police station area of Gopalganj district. She was going to testify in a case in her car, when a cement laden truck on NH 27 went out of control and overturned on her car. The accident was so severe that the woman inspector and the driver died on the spot. The woman inspector has been identified as Satibha Kumari, who was posted in Sidhavaliya police station and was a resident of Begusarai district. However, the driver could not be identified. After the accident, SP Swarn Prabhat, SDPO Abhay Ranjan, SDPO Pranjal reached the spot. Police teams from many police stations have reached the spot and started investigation.
She had gone out to testify in a case
It is said that woman sub-inspector Satibha Kumari had gone to testify in a case in the civil court. On the way, a truck loaded with cement lost control and overturned on her car. The truck driver could not know during the accident that a car was buried under the cement bags. In the evening, when the fallen cement was being loaded into another vehicle, the damaged car was seen and the woman sub-inspector and the driver were found inside it, who had died. The police of Sidhwalia police station have taken possession of the bodies of both and sent them to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
Police are investigating the accident
Gopalganj Superintendent of Police Swarn Prabhat expressed grief over the incident and said that this accident is very sad for the police family. The police is investigating the accident. On the other hand, after the accident, the family members of the deceased sub-inspector and the driver have been informed. On Friday, tribute will be paid to the deceased sub-inspector by giving him a guard of honor in the police line.
