Fans are also repeating this song with Mohammad Siraj while waving the tricolor in the sky. Firecrackers were being burst at many places on the road.

Talking to reporters at the airport, Siraj said that winning the World Cup is a matter of pride for him and it is difficult to express his happiness in words. He said – “India was waiting to win the World Cup for a long time. I am very happy that we won.”
Mohammed Siraj’s performance in T20 World Cup 2024
Siraj played in all the group stage matches played in New York. The pitch there was favorable for fast bowlers. The group match to be held in Florida was canceled due to rain. Although Siraj was able to take only one wicket in three matches, he played an important role in putting pressure on the opposition team along with Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh. In India’s thrilling 6-run victory against Pakistan, Siraj gave only 19 runs in 4 overs.
But, Siraj was rested for the Super 8 stage, semi-finals and finals to be played in the Caribbean. Left arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav was included in the team in his place.
