Irrigation Pipeline Subsidy: The water level is decreasing in many areas of the country. There are many agricultural areas where the ground water level has dropped completely. The situation is similar in most areas of Rajasthan. The land is lying dry. is barren. There is not enough means for irrigation, so farming is not possible. Can’t get the right production from the crop. To solve this problem, the central government has launched the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana. The Government of Rajasthan has also run the Irrigation Pipeline Subsidy Scheme at the state level, so that subsidy can be given on the purchase of irrigation pipeline for the connectivity of tubewells. By reducing the wastage of water, irrigation can be done according to the need of the crop.

Till now, traditional methods are being adopted for irrigation in most of the areas. Farmers release water to the fields simultaneously through means like wells and borewells. Many times the crop gets filled with so much water that the productivity decreases due to rotting. In such a situation, by using pine line, water can be released according to the need of the crop. Not only will there be 20 to 30 percent saving of water, there will also be convenience in irrigation works.

Subsidy on purchase of pipeline
Under the irrigation pipeline scheme of the Government of Rajasthan, the benefit of subsidy on the purchase of pine line is to be given to small and marginal farmers on priority, although general category farmers are also included in the scheme.

  • 60% subsidy for small and marginal farmers, a maximum grant of Rs 18,000 has been fixed.
  • 50% subsidy i.e. a maximum grant of Rs 15,000 will be given to the general category farmers.

Benefit will be available on these conditions
To take advantage of the irrigation pipeline scheme, it is mandatory for the farmer to have his own cultivable land.

  • The farmer should have irrigation equipment i.e. well, tube well, diesel or tractor operated pump sets.
  • If different farmers apply for the same well or water source, then subsidy will be given at different rates by the government.

Before applying in any agriculture scheme of the central or state government, you can go to the nearest agriculture department office of your district and get a detailed description.

  • To apply in this scheme, there should be a new copy of Aadhaar card or Janadhar card, Jamabandi.
  • You can apply online for irrigation pipeline scheme by visiting any CSC center or E-Mitra center.

Where to buy pipeline
According to the rules of irrigation pipeline scheme, after applying, the Agriculture Department verifies all the documents. If you are selected as a beneficiary, then you will have to buy the irrigation pipeline from the manufacturer or authorized seller of the registered pipeline in the Agriculture Department.

This pipeline will have to be installed, which will be verified by the officials of the Agriculture Department. Only after this the subsidy amount will be transferred to the farmer’s bank account. In this case, information will be received from the agriculture supervisor after the application is accepted.
