There was a grand welcome in Austria
PM Modi was given a grand welcome in Austria. The Austrian choir also performed the Indian national song ‘Vande Mataram’ to welcome PM Modi. This choir of about 50 members was led by Vijay Upadhyay of Indian origin. This was the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Vienna in about 40 decades, so the European country also left no stone unturned in welcoming him. The Chancellor and top officials themselves arrived to receive PM Modi at the airport.
