Brown colored peda in which no color is added, rather milk is cooked and roasted so much that its color becomes brown. To check the purity of this peda, if it is kept without a fridge for 20 days, then it does not spoil.
Sumit Ghosh tells that milk is cooked for 8 hours to make this peda made of milk and sugar. Gopal ji Peda Wala’s shop is more than 70 years old, where you can get rabri, rasmalai, gulab jamun, ghevar, chole bhature, aloo puri etc. He says that people fond of pedas also order pedas online from his shop. Delicious pedas are available at Gopal ji Peda Wala’s place for Rs 440 per kg. Sumit Ghosh, the operator of Gopal ji Peda Wala’s shop, appealed to the people and said that whenever you come to Haridwar for Ganga bath, religious activities or sightseeing, then his shop is in Bada Bazar at a distance of 100 meters from Har Ki Pauri.
