Most people take the rule of only fruit food during the Monday fast of Sawan, in such a situation you also need to take care of your health. Especially if you are working and there is more work pressure in the office. In such a situation, you can make and eat Makhana Barfi at home. It is not only going to be wonderful in taste, but it also has many benefits for health.

1. For this, first put ghee in a pan and heat it lightly.

2. After this, put makhanas in ghee and forget them well.

3. After roasting properly, take out the makhanas and roast them in the same pan by adding cashew nuts.

4. After both the things cool down, grind them in a mixer and prepare a fine powder.

5. After this, put milk in the pan and heat it, also add half a cup of brown sugar to it and prepare powder of the remaining half a cup of sugar.

6. After the milk boils 2 to 3 times, mix the prepared powder in it.

7. After this add coconut and cardamom powder to the milk and keep stirring it from time to time.

8. After some time, the makhana powder will completely absorb the milk. Then add the remaining brown sugar powder to it.

9. Prepare a soft dough by mixing everything well.

10. Now apply some ghee on a plate with the help of a brush or hands and spread the prepared dough on it.

11. Garnish it by adding finely chopped pistachios and saffron on top.

12. After about 1 to 2 hours the dough will be completely set. Cut it in the shape of barfi with the help of a knife and enjoy.
