A familiar spicy taste of Pushpa The rise Read Full Film Review EntPKS

Film Review ‘Pushpa – The Rise’: Some time back Rohit Shetty’s film ‘Suryavanshi’ was disappointed, because Rohit’s films give a lot of entertainment and all films are made by putting formula, while in Sooryavanshi the weak screenplay drowned the whole film. Beyond the fate at the box office, there is a certain kind of expectation from the director of every film. Director Sukumar has once again presented an excellent formula film to get rid of the increasing depression in the mind due to the third wave of Corona, which was first released in Telugu and then its Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam dubs were released and now its The Hindi dubbed version has been released on Amazon Prime Video.

The film is already in discussion before its release and now due to the coming of the Hindi version, its viewership has started increasing manifold. The story of the film is years old, but the treatment is new, so by watching it, you can erase the yearning to watch a successful formula film rising in your heart. After being a professor in a college for 6 years, director Sukumar started working as a writer and assistant director in Telugu films. After wearing shoes for 3-4 years, he got a chance to make his own film ‘Arya’.

Allu Arjun was the hero of the film. The film became a hit and Sukumar’s journey began. Sometimes Ram Pothineni, sometimes Mahesh Babu, sometimes Junior NTR and sometimes Ram Charan, Sukumar’s last film in this journey full of hit and flop films was ‘Rangasthalam’ which was a superhit. Mahesh Babu was first cast as the hero in ‘Pushpa’ but later Mahesh Babu left the film after telling the story of creative difference with Sukumar. Sukumar reached out to his first hero Allu Arjun and after about 12 years both decided to work together.

The film had many familiar faces of Telugu cinema and Vijay Sethupathi was first signed as the villain who could not give dates and was replaced by Malayalam film chameleon Fahadh Faasil. The interesting thing is that Fahad has done the dubs of not only Telugu, but Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages himself. Shreyas Talpade has dubbed for Allu Arjun in Hindi. This mistake has to be mentioned because Seshachalam forest is in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh and there is a different accent of speaking Telugu. Don’t know why Marathi words have been used in Shreyas’ dubbing, which doesn’t match with the character’s background and his voice is also not suiting Allu Arjun. If you listen to the real voice of Allu Arjun in Telugu, you will see the difference clearly.

The fun I have enjoyed watching the film does not even let minor mistakes sting. The film’s hero Pushpa alias Pushparaj (Allu Arjun) is the illegitimate child of a rich man in the village. Pushpa is daring, domineering, a bit naughty and brave. In his desire to earn money as soon as possible, he joins the laborers cutting red sandalwood in the forest. With his bravery, he confronts the police and saves Chandan from being caught and rises in the eyes of the owner. He loves his respect in everything, that’s why he climbs the stairs of progress on the strength of his courage and bravery and becomes the biggest smuggler of sandalwood.

While eliminating his enemies, there is no limit to his ego, then he encounters SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat (Fahad Fasil). On the day of their marriage, Pushpa gives a befitting reply to him too, but SP Shekhawat starts planning to eliminate him. Pushpa The Rise i.e. the first part ends here and information about the arrival of Pushpa the Rule is also found here. The story follows the romance of Pushpa and Srivalli (Rashmika), emotional scenes between Pushpa and her mother (Kalpalatha), the story of Pushpa working with the Reddy brothers and her journey of growth. The story runs in one line and each and every scene has been written and made with such hard work that you cannot take your eyes off the screen.

The first part of Pushpa was completed in about two years. The entire unit has worked hard on the film. Shooting has been done in the jungles. Due to Kovid, the artists were never able to shoot, and sometimes they were not allowed to shoot. There was no paved or unpaved road to go to the forests of Andhra Pradesh where the shooting took place. The unit completed the shooting of the film in different schedules with full hard work and dedication. Allu Arjun changed his entire personality over time for this film. Apart from learning the accent of Chittoor district, he worked a lot on his getup.

Renowned cinematographer of Poland Miroslav Brojek was given the responsibility of cinematography of the film. The audience is amazed to see the camera work, seeing the beautiful manner in which the camera captures every scene, one feels like praising this artist. Miroslav had earlier done the cinematography of another Telugu film ‘Gang Leader’. His work in action sequence is made on sight and it is not known when the drone shots get mixed with the wide camera shot. The cinematography has brought alive the color and tint of the film as well as the darkness of the forest. This film is a huge film and every single frame of it testifies to this fact.

The film’s editor Karthik Srinivas has already worked with director Sukumar and one should see Pushpa’s editing to understand the comfort level between the two. How to maintain the pace of the story and how to keep every important scene in the narrative of the film in such a way that no one emotion dominates the film. Some part of the film has also been edited by Anthony L. Ruben.

Looking at the film, it seems that the film has been made only and only for Allu Arjun. Rashmika is the heroine of the film and it doesn’t matter if she is not there. His role is very small and nothing happens except a few songs and a fight in his presence. Allu’s character has been created according to the clap and whistle audience. Neither cuts hair nor shaves, neither bathes, nor changes clothes, dirty, smokes beedi or cigarette, walks around with one shoulder raised like Anil Kapoor.

It is not shown in the film when he becomes a village goon or a fighter from a simple child. He smuggles in a very indigenous way but does not get caught by the police, due to which his value among the smugglers increases. In the rest of the characters, the characters of Kalpalata and Anusuya Bhardwaj are well made. There are many villains, so it is difficult to remember the name of any one, but after Fahad’s entry, everything has to be forgotten. Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who appeared in the film for just one song, has attracted all the attention with her hot looks.

The action in the film is tremendous. Rama, Lakshmana and Peter; All three are known for Dhansu action in Tamil and Telugu films. There is no shortage of him in Pushpa. About Rs 6 crore has been spent on an action sequence of 6 minutes. The music department has been given to Sukumar’s trusted friend Devi Sri Prasad as always. Songs in Telugu sound good, but the fun of songs in Hindi has become gritty. It takes a lot of hard work to understand the lyrics. Anyway, the songs of this film are more worth ‘watching’. Pushpa is a superhit. The name suggests that the film will be Flower, Legi but the film is Fire. Watch without worrying about the length. Understand how mass entertainer films are made. Learn from Sukumar how to make a film in a new style on a story that has been made hundreds of times.
