For months, there was talk of cancelling the exam, which came to an end yesterday. The court said that it is not proved that the paper has been leaked on a large scale, so in order to not affect 24 lakh students and as no major irregularities are found, the exam will not be cancelled.

Let us tell you that earlier the candidates who chose the second option also got grace marks. Due to this, 44 students topped. After taking back these marks, 44 students will be removed from the list. With their removal, the number of toppers will now be reduced to 17.

The results declared earlier for the NEET exam have been changed twice so far. Earlier, re-examination was conducted for more than 1500 students who had received grace marks. Out of these, only 813 appeared for the exam, after their results were declared, the number of toppers which was 67 decreased once and 61 remained. The marks of the 44 students will be removed again and now the number of toppers will be reduced to 17. Thus the result will change again. A new result will be released once again.

What does the education minister have to say

Regarding this, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said in a press conference yesterday evening that the new scorecard of NEET will be released soon. He had said that the new scorecard will be released in two days yesterday. According to that, the new results, new scorecards and the list of new toppers should be released by tomorrow. Welcoming the decision of the Supreme Court, he also said that now all kinds of speculations have come to an end and the court has made it clear that the problem has not occurred at the mass level. With this, the people trying to take political advantage on the pretext of the exam will now be silenced.

Now the final result will come

The education minister clarified that the final result will come in two days. The CJI said yesterday that there is no evidence of any malpractice in the entire exam, so the exam will not be cancelled. However, wherever malpractice has been found, the matter will be investigated and those found guilty will be punished and their admission will also be cancelled.
