The OPD service of Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical Hospital cum College of Gaya has been disrupted. The reason is that the hospital’s electrician died of electric shock while starting the hospital’s motor on Tuesday night. Angered by this incident, the contract workers protested fiercely. They say that it was raining heavily late last night due to which rainwater started accumulating in a part of Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical Hospital. Seeing the rainwater accumulating, the medical hospital administration had asked the electrician to start the motor and drain out the accumulated rainwater. As soon as Akash Paswan, an electrician working in the medical, pressed the button to start the motor, the electrician died on the spot due to electric shock.

Angry workers and their families staged a protest
After the incident, on Wednesday morning, the family members of the deceased Bijli Misri and other workers created a ruckus at the main gate of the emergency in ANMMCH. They started demanding proper compensation for the angry worker. Not only this, they also disrupted the OPD service of the hospital.
