Another death occurred on Tuesday night in the Jalalpur poisonous liquor case of Mohanpur police station area of Samastipur district. With this, the number of people who died in this case has now gone up to two. Nishant Kumar alias Prince, who was undergoing treatment in Patna in the Jalalpur poisonous liquor case, died late last night. Prince was the son of Suman Kumar of Ramchandrapur Dussehra village of Mohanpur police station area. It is known that a youth named Vicky Kumar died in this case on 18 July.

On the night of 17th July, poultry farm businessman Vikas Kumar alias Vicky of Jalalpur village had a liquor party with his friends Rupesh Kumar, Pankaj Kumar, Prince Kumar and Vikram Kumar. The liquor was brought by a youth named Sinku Kumar from the same village. Within three-four hours of consuming the liquor, everyone started falling ill. In a hurry, the family members admitted the victims to the hospital.
As Vicky Kumar’s condition was critical, he was taken to AIIMS Patna, where he died during treatment, while the treatment of other youths including Prince was going on. Prince’s condition was critical and he died last night. In this case, an FIR was registered on the statement of deceased Vicky’s brother Nikki Kumar.
The main accused is still absconding
Let us tell you here that the main accused of this case, Sinku Kumar, is still absconding. The police is continuously raiding the areas around Mohanpur and Ganga to arrest Sinku, but he has not been arrested yet. Mohanpur police station chief Ajit Kumar Trivedi said that a preliminary report has already been registered in the case and the police team is continuously conducting raids to arrest the accused. The accused will be arrested soon.
