Like former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Governor Kesrinath Tripathi had a lot of respect in all political parties. Late Mulayam Singh Yadav, who was the Chief Minister of the state, used to call Kesrinath Tripathi his best friend. Even though both the parties are of opposite ideology, but both these leaders have never left any stone unturned in giving respect to each other in the assembly.
The political career of Kesrinath Tripathi was very long. He was an MLA six times. He also got the distinction of becoming the Speaker of the Vidhansabha thrice. Former minister Narendra Singh Gaur, who was with him in the Legislative Assembly, says that even if he is not among us today, his memories will always remain in our hearts.
The personality of Kesrinath Tripathi was also excellent. He was not only a good politician, but he has also been counted among good advocates. When he came to Prayagraj after completing a successful 5-year term as the Governor of West Bengal, he showed interest in advocacy. Although due to old age, he could not read the files much, but if someone used to consult him for legal advice, he would definitely give proper advice to him.
Kesrinath was also considered a good poet. Many books were also written by him. His nephew Shivendra Mishra told that Pandit ji has written more than two dozen books. Due to the corona in 2020, he had started hearing less. However, he used to do all his work himself.
