In the order issued by the Registrar, it is said that in view of the need for quick disposal of files in all branches of the university, the controlling officers of all branches are directed to dispose of the files within three days of their receipt in their office. If this does not happen, then action will be taken against the responsible employee and officer as per rules.

Let us tell you that BNMU is famous for its lateness. Due to the negligence of the officers and employees, files remain pending in the office for months. Vice Chancellor Prof. Vimalendu Shekhar Jha has taken strict steps to improve the system. He is constantly conducting surprise inspections of offices and taking action against absent employees.

A few months ago, employees were seen less in the office and more at the tea stall. Now the same employees are seen sitting in the office. Earlier on July 10, the Registrar had issued an order to all the officers and employees of the university to ensure their presence in their departments during the stipulated period from 10.30 am to 5 pm. It was said that legal action would be taken if found absent during this period.
