The body of a student was found in Gaya’s Tetar Dam on Saturday morning. A crowd of people gathered to see the student’s body. The dead student was identified as Prince Kumar, a student of 11th standard of Navodaya Vidyalaya. At present, the local police took the body in their custody and sent it to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital for postmortem. Along with this, the investigation of the case started. According to the information received, the police got information about a dead body floating in Gaya district’s Tetar Dam on Saturday morning. After that, people took out the body from the dam. The body was tied to a big piece of stone. After the information of the student’s body being found in the dam, the Atari police station police force reached the spot. After that, the body was identified. The body was identified as Prince Kumar, son of Dinesh Mistry, a student of 11th standard of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya located near Jethiyan village of Gaya district. The student was a resident of Vabhandi village of Wazirganj police station area of Gaya district.

After the body of the student was found, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya principal Anil Kumar Singh said that on Thursday he had gone out of the school premises saying that he was going to get his hair cut. After that Prince did not return. However, on Friday the Atari police station was informed about the student’s disappearance. According to information received from sources, other facilities including hair cutting are available in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya campus, then he went out of the school saying that he was going to get his hair cut. People told that the CCTV camera of the school is also not working.
Police is investigating on all points
In this regard, Neemchak Bathani DSP Prakash Kumar said that the body has been taken out from Tetar Dam. The body was tied to a piece of stone and thrown. The body has been identified. The body has been taken into custody and sent to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital for postmortem. The case is suspicious. The police is investigating all the angles.
