Panch Dashnam Juna Akhara has announced the dates of city entry and royal procession in Maha Kumbh. Naga sanyasis, Mahamandaleshwar, Mahant, Sadhu-Saint and Mathadhish from all over the country will leave for Prayagraj on Vijayadashmi on 12 October. On Yam Dwitiya on November 3, the procession of Juna Akhara will enter the camp on the sands of Sangam with the deity along with elephants, horses, carriages, decorated chariots and palanquins.

Amidst the preparations of the state government for the Maha Kumbh, the largest Panch Dashnam Juna Akhara of ascetics has decided the dates for city entry, Peshwai, royal bath, procession and Kadhi-Pakora. In the meeting chaired by the international president of Juna Akhara, Mahant Prem Giri, several proposals were approved for the preparations of the bathing festivals of the Maha Kumbh along with the arrangements for the fair.
In the presence of chief guest International Patron of Juna Akhara and General Secretary of All India Akhara Parishad Mahant Hari Giri, special guest Dudheshwar Nath Peethadheeswar and International Spokesperson of Juna Akhara Mahant Narayan Giri, Mahant Mohan Bharti, National Secretary of Juna Akhara Mahant Maheshpuri and Mahant Shailendra Giri, a decision was taken on the date and auspicious time of city entry.
