Assembly elections are going to be held in Bihar soon. Before the elections, election strategist turned politician Prashant Kishore has announced the launch of his new political party. Prashant Kishore announced on Sunday that he will start a new political party on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on October 2. The most important aspect of his announcement is that he will start his political party before the Bihar assembly elections.

In fact, while addressing the officials during the Jan Suraj Abhiyan at Bapu Auditorium in Patna, Prashant Kishore said that the foundation stone of the party will be laid on October 2. His party will start with officials of more than one lakh people. The election strategist also told that he will lead the party. These leaders will be selected from their respective assembly constituencies. During this, politician Prashant Kishore expressed confidence of winning the assembly elections in Bihar in 2025.
In this meeting held in Patna, three big names including Dr. Jagriti, granddaughter of former Chief Minister Karpuri Thakur, also joined his Jan Suraj Abhiyan. Let us tell you that Anand Mishra, an independent candidate from Buxar in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, also joined the party. He appreciated the efforts of Prashant Kishore. Professor Rambali Singh Chandravanshi also joined the Jan Suraj Abhiyan, impressed by Prashant Kishore’s aim to bring development in the state. To prepare for the new party, a total of 8 separate state-level meetings of more than 1.5 lakh officials associated with the campaign are being organized across Bihar. In these meetings, the process of formation of the party, its leadership, constitution and priorities of the party are to be decided with all the officials. The first meeting was held in Patna on 28 July. All district and block level officials attended this meeting. The second meeting will be held on August 4, in which all the young officials associated with Jan Suraj will participate.
