However, today he not only gave his reaction on this but also emphasized on finding ways to solve such problems.

Vikas Divyakirti not only works as a teacher, guide or motivator for IAS or UPSC aspirants but his thoughts are listened to by millions of people. Today again this question is coming in people’s mind that why did he come into teaching after passing a prestigious service like UPSC.
It was from this field that I started
Vikas Divyakirti’s career started as an Assistant Professor in Delhi University. However, at this time he was also preparing for UPSC CSE and used to study along with work. In the year 1996, he gave his first attempt and got selected. According to his rank, he got a place in the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Government of India.
Did not feel like working
After getting selected for the post of an officer and despite having the prestige, facilities and salary of a government officer, Vikas Divyakirti did not like this work. He still wanted to try more, keeping this in mind, he gave many more attempts in UPSC but could not get selected for the desired IAS post.
turned to teaching
Meanwhile, the thought of entering the field of teaching came to his mind. He had done this earlier too and he felt that this was the work in which he would get satisfaction. There was a lot of opposition to this decision of his and it was also said that why did he leave a good job and get obsessed with teaching.
Divyakirti is firm in her intentions
Despite hearing criticism from all sides, Vikas Divyakirti started teaching. He continued to make attempts and finally reached a point where he gave up the desire to get selected in UPSC and decided to prepare children for UPSC.
There is happiness in teaching children
According to various media reports, Vikas Divyakirti considers teaching as a form of spirituality for him. The satisfaction and happiness he gets from teaching children is not found anywhere else. His foresight worked and he emerged as a teacher whose words are accepted by students blindly. He proved his choice right.
