Appeals have been made to the government and the district administration, because till now very less paddy has been planted than the target. At the same time, the problems of the farmers have increased with the increasing heat.

With the weakening of the monsoon, trouble has come for the farmers. Due to the increasing heat and lack of rain, the farmers of Muzaffarpur have started getting worried and frustrated. Due to which the problem has increased due to the decrease in paddy plantation in many blocks of the district. After which the farmers are now forced to buy water at very low prices. The situation has worsened in many blocks of the district.
Problems increased due to lack of rain
In fact, due to lack of rain in the district for the last three weeks, the paddy seedlings are ready, but there is a shortage of water required for their transplantation. The situation remains the same in many blocks of the district including Kanti, Bochaha, Katra, Motipur, Madwan, Kudhni. After which now the farmers have appealed to the district administration and the government regarding this, so that paddy can be transplanted on time.
Agriculture department should provide diesel subsidy amount soon: DM
In this case, DM Subrat Sen said that the problem has increased due to increasing heat and lack of rain. We are serious about farmers being able to plant paddy. Instructions have been given to the Agriculture Department in this regard. Along with this, diesel subsidy amount should be provided as soon as possible so that farmers can irrigate their fields.
