Due to lightning and strong winds in many districts including Vaishali, Samastipur, Saharsa and Gopalganj, electricity supply has been disrupted in entire Bihar for the last 36 hours. Along with this, darkness prevails in many areas of Patna as well.

On Thursday morning due to lightning striking 33 thousand supply and strong winds, electricity supply has been disrupted in the entire district for the last 36 hours. In the rain on Thursday morning, about half a dozen insulators were punctured due to lightning striking 33 thousand power supply in Kamtaulia Chaur of Vaishali district. Due to this electricity was out for the entire day on Thursday. It took the electricity department mechanic the entire day to repair the insulator damaged by lightning by using BP (instrument). Electricity came for half an hour on Thursday evening and then due to storm and rain that occurred at the same time, power supply was disrupted, due to which power supply is stalled from district headquarters Hajipur to rural areas.
Kanwariyas going to Baba Garibnath place face problems
Local people say that people are facing a lot of problems due to darkness. Due to power supply disruption, Kanwariyas going to Baba Garibnath Sthan in Muzaffarpur have to pass through a dark route, due to which Kanwariyas are facing a lot of problems in going. People’s inverters have also got discharged due to lack of electricity. Everyone’s electronic items including mobiles have also become useless, due to which people are facing a lot of problems in contacting one another. In this regard, Assistant Executive Engineer Lalu Prasad said that 33 thousand is down, due to which power supply is disrupted. Workers have been deployed, it is being fixed.
