Jammu and Kashmir News: Major action has been taken in the case of terror funding in Jammu and Kashmir. In this case, six government employees including five policemen have been dismissed from service under Article 311 (2) (C) of the Constitution of India.
Giving information about this case, the officials said that this action has been taken after investigation. This investigation revealed their involvement in the narco-terror network operated by Pakistan’s ISI and terrorist organizations across the border.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha gave approval
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has approved the dismissal of these employees after a thorough investigation found their involvement in terror funding through illegal sale of narcotics. He said that all of them were deeply involved in this network. They had tried to promote illegal sale of narcotics by using their position.
The dismissed officers were identified as Farooq Ahmed Sheikh, head constable, Khalid Hussain Shah, constable, Rehmat Shah, constable, Irshad Ahmed Chalaku, constable, Nazam Din, teacher, and Saif Din, constable.
Promised to take strict action
Regarding this matter, the official said, ‘The government has reiterated its zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism and its supporters and has promised to take strict action against those involved in such activities. The Lieutenant Governor has emphasized the importance of eliminating corruption and terrorist ties within government ranks to ensure the safety and well-being of citizens. This decisive action is part of broader efforts to dismantle terrorist networks and cut off their financial lifeline.
He said, ‘Officials have assured that the investigation will continue to uncover any additional links and ‘accomplices’ within the network’. He said that the government has also called for greater vigilance and cooperation from the public in identifying and reporting suspicious activities.
