Cold wave continues to wreak havoc in Kanpur. Melting in the atmosphere is taking a heavy toll on the hearts and minds of the patients. On Monday, 17 more patients died of heart attack. Along with this, three patients have died due to brain attack. Twelve patients have been admitted in critical condition in Halat and other hospitals. Many brain attack patients are on ventilator.

The veins of the brain of these patients have been torn. Three brain attack patients and 14 heart attack patients had breathlessness before reaching the hospital. Relatives say that the patients’ health suddenly deteriorated. He died before reaching the hospital. Later the doctors declared him dead. Professor Vinay Krishna, director of LPS Cardiology Institute, says that the blood pressure of patients suddenly increases due to negligence in cold prevention and taking medicines.

This leads to heart attack and brain attack. According to the Emergency Control Room of LPS Cardiology Institute, 14 heart patients came to the hospital in dead condition on Monday. He had already died. Doctors declared him dead after the ECG test report came flat. Along with this, three patients admitted to the hospital in critical condition died during treatment. A total of 698 patients were examined in Cardiology’s Emergency and OPD. Of these, severe symptoms were found in 44 patients, they were admitted to the hospital.

Along with this, brain attack patients were admitted to Halat and private hospitals. Eight brain attack patients and four patients were admitted in private hospital in Halat. Of these, six patients have been put on ventilator. Ramgopal (65) of Fazalganj, Dhirendranath (48) of Gumti and Niranjan (54) of Lakhanpur have died of brain attack. Two patients were declared brought dead at Halat and one patient at Kalyanpur hospital. Doctors say that patients should avoid cold. Most of the patients did not take blood pressure medicine on time which led to brain attack.
