Armed criminals have carried out a robbery in the Kamla Ganga Intercity train which left from Athmalgola station. The victim gold merchant living in Badh Bazar said that we have our own shop near Athmalgola station.
They were returning home after closing their shops and many other shopkeepers also boarded the train with them. After which they were coming to their homes from Athmalgola to Badh by train. Meanwhile, armed criminals stopped the train and committed robbery. Many other passengers in the same bogie were also robbed. Not only this, they were also beaten up. The gold merchant said that he had shop’s jewellery and 30 thousand rupees in cash, which the miscreants robbed. More than 3 lakh rupees were robbed. The police is avoiding saying anything in this matter.
