In Barabanki, a dog killed a chicken. Due to which, the young man who was keeping the chicken beat the dog with a stick and iron rod and injured it badly. That is, he took revenge for killing the chicken by beating the dog. There has been a dispute among the people of the colony regarding this matter.
Regarding this, the workers of Zaroorat Foundation and Jeevashraya Sanstha are now demanding action against the boy in this case.
The case is related to Kanshiram Colony of Gulriya Garda locality under Nagar Kotwali area of Barabanki district. Where Mo. Adil son of Aqib, who lives in Block 4, beat a female dog Manjri with sticks and iron rods and left her half dead on the evening of August 3.
Animal lovers protested
It is alleged that when some female animal lovers living in the neighbourhood protested against this, he abused them too. He started threatening to kill those women too. The women are claiming to have an audio recording of this as proof.
There has been a dispute among the people of the colony regarding this matter. Now the workers of Zarurat Foundation and Jeevashra have filed a complaint in the city police station and are demanding action for the arrest of the boy.
Demand for post mortem of chicken carcass
Activist Tripti Jaiswal says that if the dog was killed because of the chicken, then the body of the buried chicken should be exhumed and a postmortem should be conducted. Seeing the serious condition of the dog, the animal doctors referred it to Lucknow Higher Center.
He told that after that he was taken to Jivashray Hospital, which is being run with the support of Municipal Corporation Lucknow. Where he has to undergo several surgeries. In such a situation, the police should arrest that boy. So that it can be known why he did such cruelty to the dog.
