Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission is issuing appointment letters to 1275 candidates for the post of Sub Inspector of Police. Police Headquarters has released the list of those candidates of Police and Inspector who are to be sent to different districts. Eunuchs are also included in this list. According to the District Headquarters, Sub Inspector of Police will be issued appointment letters with photographs from 11 October to 31 October and they will be made to join. For this, all the SPs and DSPs of the districts will match the documents and ensure their identity. Candidates will also have to submit character certificate and medical report.

60 Police Sub Inspectors in Begusarai, 20 in Khagaria, 46 in Nalanda, 123 in Patna, 48 in East Champaran, 33 in West Champaran, 33 in Banka, 30 in Bhagalpur, 11 in Madhepura, 08 in Saharsa, 13 in Supaul, 16 in Arwal, 48 in Aurangabad, 78 in Gaya, 24 in Jehanabad, 60 in Nawada, 13 in Darbhanga, 26 in Madhubani, 61 in Samastipur, 38 in Jamui, 22 in Lakhisarai, 36 in Munger, 16 in Sheikhpura, 08 in Araria, 19 in Katihar, 15 in Purnia, 23 in Gopalganj, 29 in Saran, 29 in Siwan, 65 in Bhojpur, 31 in Buxar, Kaimur 35 in Darbhanga, 61 in Rohtas, 19 in Muzaffarpur, 05 in Shivhar, 21 in Sitamarhi and 42 Sub Inspectors of Police are being sent to Vaishali.

Three transgenders are also included among the 1275 candidates. Those transgender candidates include Madhu Kashyap, Bunty Kumar and Ronit Jha.
