Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati News: Jyotirmath’s Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda, who is often in the news for his statements, was called a ‘fake baba’ by Govindananda Saraswati Maharaj. Now, Swami Avimukteshwarananda has filed a defamation case against Govindananda Saraswati in this matter.
In fact, Govindananda Saraswati Maharaj had accused the Congress of using Swami Avimukteshwarananda as a pawn. He showed a letter written by Priyanka Gandhi to Avimukteshwarananda on 13 September 2022 as proof.
What did Govindananda Saraswati say?
He had asked this question to everyone including BJP, CM, PM and HM that will Congress decide the Shankaracharya? Swami Govindananda Saraswati had said, “There is no doubt that Swami Avimukteshwarananda is a toy of Congress, I have proof of this.”
He further said, “I am challenging Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Avimukteshwarananda. Whenever I raised questions against Avimukteshwarananda, he always escaped, but finally he was caught”
Govindanand Saraswati Maharaj had also accused Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra of disobeying the Supreme Court’s order regarding Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati. He had asked Priyanka Gandhi to apologize in 15 days, otherwise he had talked about initiating legal action against her.
Govindananda Saraswati Maharaj said that when his Guruji passed away, Congress had issued a letter to support Avimukteshwarananda. On the basis of this letter, Avimukteshwarananda approached the Supreme Court.
He alleged that on September 13, 2022, Priyanka Gandhi wrote a letter addressing Avimukteshwarananda as ‘Shankaracharya’. He said that when the Supreme Court had put a stay on this matter, then how did Priyanka Gandhi call Avimukteshwarananda Shankaracharya?
