Nikhil Patel said, ‘Daljit Kaur and I met in Dubai in 2022. After that we got married in a Hindu ceremony in India in 2023. After marriage, we came to Norway. I work here. We stayed together in Kenya like a family till January 2024. After this she returned to India with her son Jaden.’

Further he wrote- Daljeet wanted to move to Kenya and start a new chapter of her life with me and my daughters. She knew that at that time I was not legally divorced from my first wife. My legal council had also sent a letter to Daljeet’s parents, in which it was written about it. They had agreed to this marriage. That is why the marriage took place in a Hindu ceremony and not in a Gurudwara or temple. This relationship was not legally bound. This ritual had only one purpose, so that Daljeet could go to Kenya. My final divorce did not happen until January this year. By then Daljeet had left Kenya.
Nikhil said that Daljeet knew that she was having a relationship with a married man. Nikhil also said that Daljeet knew that I am already married and now she is tagging me as a cheater and claiming that I am having an extra marital affair. Nikhil said that it was my birthday on 2nd August and Daljeet filed an FIR against me. She has adopted the same tactics that she used against a husband. She has made false claims in the FIR.
