The oldest âKheer Mohanâ shop in Hazaribaghâs Chauparan is believed to be Vishnu âKheer Mohanâ. Vishnu, a resident of Chauparan, started making and selling âKheer Mohanâ sweets since 1932. So far, his three generations have been making and selling âKheer Mohanâ sweets. At the same time, due to being on GT Road, this shop has become more famous. Regarding the shop, it is said that the number of âKheer Mohanâ shops has increased here since the Corona period. At present, there are hundreds of âKheer Mohanâ shops here.
Recipe for making Kheer Mohan
There is a process of making âKheer Mohanâ of Chauparan. Milk curd is used to make the sweet delicious and tasty. Kheer Mohan is prepared in two ways. One âKheer Mohanâ is prepared in sugar syrup and the other Kheer Mohan is prepared in jaggery syrup. âKheer Mohanâ also looks like Rasgulla and Gulab Jamun. The price of âKheer Mohanâ ranges from Rs. 250 to Rs. 400 per kg. There are about 30 pieces in one kg.
