Police have registered a case of forgery against a person who got the job of Sub Inspector of Delhi Police by submitting fake documents. A case has been registered against the accused at Mukherjee Nagar police station. The sub-inspector was dismissed after the documents were found to be fake during document verification.

Police have registered a case on the complaint of Delhi Police Recruitment Cell officer. In the complaint given by the police officer, it has been said that Arvind Kumar was recruited as Sub Inspector in Delhi Police in 2016 under ESM (Ex-Serviceman) category. For recruitment in this category, the accused had produced documents of commando training. He had reported to the Squadron Leader of Air Officer Commanding Air Force Station Bareilly. After the recruitment of Trainee Sub Inspector, the recruitment cell scrutinized the documents.

During this time it was revealed that Arvind Kumar was not posted in that Air Force station and he had given fake documents. After the matter came to notice, this information was given to the top officials of the police headquarters. In August 2019, the Police Headquarters sent the documents to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Recruitment Cell, to take necessary action on this matter. The Deputy Commissioner dismissed SI Arvind Kumar.

Also recommended to register a case against Arvind Kumar for committing fraud. For this, permission was sought from the police headquarters. A police officer said that after getting permission to register the case from the police headquarters, a complaint was lodged by the recruitment cell at Mukherjee Nagar police station. After that the police registered the case. The police is investigating the case
