A truck crushed a woman crossing the road in Nalanda – Amar Ujala Hindi News Live


Nalanda: An elderly woman died in a road accident on Tuesday morning in Nalanda. Two bike riders were seriously injured. The incident took place near Kumbhari bridge under Bind police station area. The deceased has been identified as Parvati Devi (62), wife of late Damodar Paswan, a resident of Bind in Bind police station area.

Regarding the incident, the family of the deceased said that Parvati Devi was crossing the road. Meanwhile, a speeding truck which was going from Rahui towards Sarmera crushed her. While fleeing, the truck driver hit a motorcyclist as well and fled from the spot along with the vehicle. In this accident, the woman died on the spot. While both the bike riders were admitted to Bind Primary Health Center for treatment with the help of local people. From where they have been referred to a higher center for better treatment.

The woman was going to the other side of the road for farm work. While the bike rider was coming to Bihar Sharif court for some work. As soon as the woman’s family came to know about this incident, there was a lot of screaming and crying. The village atmosphere became sad due to the screams of the family members. After this accident, traffic was completely disrupted for some time. In this case, Bind police station chief Roshan Kumar said that the body has been taken into custody and sent to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and the police have started identifying the unknown vehicle. Further action will be taken on receipt of the application.
