It is being said in a report on social media that due to the pressure of the Digital Market Act of the European Union, this feature can be rolled out only by March. Dick Brober is the engineering director of WhatsApp, who said that WhatsApp is ready to offer interoperability to its 2 billion or 200 crore users to provide the facility of chatting with third party apps. He told that keeping in mind the privacy, safety and unity of WhatsApp, we are offering interoperability to third party apps.
Will Telegram support or not?
However, no definite information has been received yet whether WhatsApp’s arch and biggest rival Telegram is ready to support interoperability with WhatsApp or not. Let us tell you that Telegram has been giving tough competition to WhatsApp since the beginning, and in that app, users get some features which are not available in WhatsApp. In such a situation, if the users of Telegram and WhatsApp start chatting with each other through each other’s apps, then it will really be an amazing feature.
Users will get these facilities
However, Meta has prepared to take support of its other chatting platforms like Facebook Messenger as well as other chatting apps. After the introduction of this feature, users will be able to use features like text messaging, sending photos, sending voice messages, sending videos and transferring files. Let us tell you that at present, through this facility, WhatsApp users will not be able to do group chat or call with the users of other apps. This feature will be added later.
