A village in India where hundreds of birds commit suicide together, everything happens on a new moon night

There are many such places in India which are mysterious, there are some such strange things which are beyond human mind to guess. Something similar happens in Jatinga, a small village in Assam. A strange incident happens here every year between August and September. During this time, hundreds of birds from all over the country come here and commit suicide together. For this reason this village is known all over the world. Scientists from all over the world are doing research on the fact that what is there in this village that all the birds come and die here. But till now no clear answer has been received.

Jatinga is different from other villages

Hundreds of villages in North Cachar Hills district of Assam are like this But Jatinga village surrounded by hills and plateaus is different from these villages. The 1200 tribes living in this village, who are tribals, live in oblivion there even today. Their livelihood is done by forest, poultry and animal husbandry. However, everything changes here in the months of August and September. People from all over the world come here to see the mysterious suicide of birds and many researchers still come here for research. But even after so much research, no specific solution has been found for this puzzle till date.

Everything happens in the night of new moon

In Hinduism The night of new moon is not considered good. It is said that on this day the evil forces are at their peak. In Jatinga village too, most of the birds gather in hundreds on the night of Amavasya and commit suicide here. It is said that birds die here in two ways. One, the birds themselves give their lives by falling from the sky. Secondly, the tribals living here tie lanterns on wooden poles and hang them in the village, and suddenly many birds are drawn towards the light of the lantern like insects and kites and sacrifice their lives after colliding.

Why does this happen only in this village

The most surprising thing is that mass suicide of birds happens only in this village. There is another village just 2 kilometers away from here where birds do not do anything like this. Even in this village, all the birds are normally active during the day, but as soon as the night falls, there is a strange disturbance inside them and they start circling in the sky to die.
