NDRF team took out the body, police is investigating the matter

New Delhi. A 35-year-old youth drowned while bathing in a pond in Hiran Kudna village of Mundka on Friday. After getting the information, divers tried to rescue him, but they did not succeed. Early Saturday morning, the police called the NDRF team to the spot. After some effort, the NDRF team recovered the body of the youth. The deceased has been identified as Ravi (35). The police has conducted the post-mortem of the body and handed it over to the family.
The police officer said that on Friday morning at 11 am, the police received information that a young man had drowned in a pond in Hiran Kudna village. During investigation, the police came to know that the villagers bring their cattle to this pond for bathing and also take bath in it. The depth of the pond is about 15 to 20 feet. The police came to know that Ravi had come to the pond with his cattle. During this time, he started bathing and drowned after going into deep water.
