A young man is earning lakhs by selling this sweet, everyone is crazy about its taste, note down the information

Neeraj Kumar/Begusarai. You all must be aware of the name Batasha. Usually you find this sweet near temples or in any puja material shop. It is also used especially for offering to Gods and Goddesses during worship. You can also gauge the popularity of Batasha from the fact that in the year 2019, a Bhojpuri cinema was named “Lagal Raha Batasha”. Shopkeepers also make it on a small scale. But, you will be surprised to know that a young man from Begusarai has set up a Batasha manufacturing factory to fulfill his hobby. From this he earns up to Rs 1.5 lakh per month.

Amit Gupta, 36 year old son of Satyanaran Sah, who lives near Nauranga bridge on the main road of Begusarai city, says that Batasha is needed in every religious function. At a young age he saw that people were not able to buy pure and clean Satvik Batasha. Only after this, I had decided in my mind that when I grow up, I will provide pure and clean Batasha to the people. To set up this factory, he has also taken a loan of Rs 9 lakh from the Prime Minister Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PM FME) Scheme. Now he has created his own brand and provides pure Batasha to the people.

Packet rate according to weight
Amit told that in his factory, 8 to 10 quintals of Batasha worth about Rs 60 thousand is made every day. He has also appointed 10 staff for this work. After preparing Batasha, he makes it available in packets of Rs 10, 20 and 30 in the market of districts like Begusarai, Khagaria, Samastipur etc. from his vehicle. In such a situation, he also earns Rs 5000 per day after deducting the expenses. Amit told that he supplies the Batasha prepared in his factory in the market under the name of Prasad.
