Yes, a young man from Amethi did something that has made this young man from Amethi in the news. A young man in Amethi complained about the shortage of water due to a broken tap and when the problem was not resolved, the young man reached the block office with a bucket and mug and started bathing there. The people around made a video of the young man and made it viral on social media. After bathing, the young man told in a conversation that the tap in his house has been broken for many days and despite complaining, it is not being resolved. The young man said that he will come to the block premises to bathe until the tap is fixed.
The matter is of Sangrampur block
Actually this whole matter is of Sangrampur block of Amethi district. Satyam Kumar, a resident of Punnpur block, reached Sangrampur block, where he reached with a bucket, mug and his clothes. He filled water from the tap near the BDO office and bathed in front of the block and then washed his clothes. Satyam alleges that every month Samadhan Diwas is held at the block, but everyone’s problem is not solved. For the last one year, I have demanded to get the tap repaired more than fifty times. Even after which the BDO and the village secretary have been giving assurances only. Now the village secretary also uses indecent language on complaining. Due to the tap not being repaired, people of many houses are facing water problem. The victim said that now he will bring a bucket from home every day and will bathe like this until his problem is solved.
The officials maintained silence
The Block Development Officer of Sangrampur Block refused to speak on the entire matter. He said that the matter is being investigated, but he clearly refused to speak on camera.
