While making an Aadhaar card, people often enter some wrong information. In such a situation, UIDAI gives people a chance to make corrections in the Aadhaar card, to update their information. You are often given a chance to update the address in the Aadhaar card. However, for this, you have to upload some documents along with it. Only then the address is updated. These documents can be used to change the address

UIDAI has laid down some rules and conditions for updating many things in the Aadhaar card. For example, you can change the date of birth only once. Your name can be changed twice in the Aadhaar card. You can change your address as many times as you want. There is no restriction or rule regarding this. UIDAI has released a list of 45 documents to change the address in the Aadhaar card. You can use any of these documents to get your address updated in the Aadhaar card.

12. Credit card statement (not older than 3 months)

14. Letter with photo and signature on bank’s letterhead

15. Letter with photo and signature issued on the letterhead of a registered company

16. Letter with photo and signature issued by recognized educational institution on letterhead or photo issued by recognized educational institution
