Aadhar card is not used in passport
In India, most of the people have Aadhar card and it is used the most. But there are some tasks in which you cannot use Aadhar card. If you are applying for a passport. So in that you cannot use Aadhar card as proof of date of birth. For this you will have to submit school leaving certificate or any other document.
Aadhaar is not birth proof even in PF account
Almost everyone in India has a PF account. In which money keeps getting deposited every month. PF accounts are operated by the Employee Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), an organization of the Government of India. This year, EPFO had issued a circular to all its account holders that Aadhaar card will not be accepted as proof of date of birth in PF account. A separate document will have to be used for this.
Can be used only as an identity card
In December last year, UIDAI had issued a circular stating that Aadhaar card can be used to prove one’s personal identity and its authenticity. Not as a certificate of someone’s date of birth, UIDAI has made it clear that Aadhaar card is not a certificate of date of birth.
