On April 9, the Supreme Court allowed the powerful MLA Abbas, who is jailed in Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh, to attend the Fatiha program of his father Mukhtar Ansari. After this permission, the police administration took the captive Abbas to Ghazipur on April 9 under tight security. After the expiry of the permission period on Saturday, Abbas was brought back from Ghazipur to Pachlana district jail. According to jail rules, Abbas was kept in the high-security barrack of the jail after searching the prisoner.
Late in the evening of 9 April, Abbas was taken to Ghazipur in a prison van. After reaching Ghazipur, Abbas participated in the Fatiha program of his father Mukhtar Ansari. Mukhtar Ansari died of a heart attack on March 28. Abbas could not get permission to attend his father’s funeral. Abbas reached Ghazipur on 9 April. Where he participated in the Fatiha program. Participated in other family programs on 11th and 12th April.
He stayed in Ghazipur as per the restrictions permitted by the Supreme Court. On April 13, he was brought from Ghazipur jail under tight security. After around 6:30 pm, Abbas reached Pachlana jail in a prison van under tight security. Where the jail administration searched Abbas. Searched his luggage. After that he was confined in a high security barrack.
