Bounty On Abdul Rehman Makki: Mumbai 26-11 attacks mastermind Hafiz Abdul Rehman Makki died of heart attack. He was the brother-in-law of Hafiz Saeed and the deputy chief of the banned Jamaat-ud-Dawah organization. It is being told that Makki died of heart attack in Lahore. The surprising thing is that if Makki had not died of a heart attack and someone had caught him alive, he would have got a reward of more than Rs 17 crore.
It is being told that Makki was ill for some days and was being treated in a private hospital, where he breathed his last. In 2020, a Pakistani court sentenced Abdul Makki to 6 months imprisonment in the terror funding case. However, after this punishment he was rarely seen in public places.
Makki was a global terrorist
In 2023, UNSC declared Abdul Rahman Makki a global terrorist. Under these restrictions, there was a ban on his travels and there was also an order to confiscate his property. Makki was accused of being involved in terrorist activities and collecting funds while being in Jamaat ud Dawa.
According to BBC report, in 2012, America had announced a reward of 10 million dollars on Hafiz Mohammad Saeed and 2 million dollars on Abdul Rehman Makki. This amount in Indian rupees is Rs 17,10,82,000. This means that the person who catches or kills the corn alive would get this reward. However, Makki died of a heart attack. America has banned both the organizations of Hafiz Saeed, Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jamaat-ud-Dawa. Makki was also India’s most wanted terrorist.
Makki was the mastermind of Mumbai attacks
Hafiz Saeed’s brother-in-law Makki was one of the main conspirators of the Mumbai attacks. 175 people died in this attack. While more than 300 people were injured. These attacks shook the entire country.
