Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Lok Sabha Elections Now only one phase of 2024 is left. The last phase of this great festival of democracy which started on 19th April will be on 1st June and the results will be out on 4th June. Before this, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had a special conversation with ABP News. During this, he talked about all the issues raised during the elections and the results of the elections.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi Reacting to the statement of sending Lalu Yadav and Tejaswi Yadav to jail, he said that are they policemen? What did Kharge say about Rahul Gandhi becoming the PM face?
Mallikarjun Kharge was asked that if the opposition alliance gets majority, then who will be the face of the Prime Minister from their side? On this he said that after the elections, the people of the alliance will sit together and decide. However, he remained silent on the name of Rahul Gandhi.
What did the Congress President say about Nitish Kumar and Mamta Banerjee?
Regarding Nitish Kumar leaving the INDIA alliance, he said, “He did not form the India alliance. He should not take credit. We formed it. Nitish’s leaving does not make any difference. A meeting was held at my home. We formed the alliance by calling each leader. Nitish said come to Patna and hold a meeting. We have a government in Bihar. We will help. All the leaders were there, Rahul, Lallan Singh, Left parties. We reached a consensus with everyone.”
He further said, “Nitish called us here and held a meeting, but he is not credited for that. If he went, why did the other parties not go with him? Nitish knows where he will stay. He is hanging in the lap of BJP. He will stay there until BJP throws him out. His departure did not affect this alliance.”
Apart from this, on the statement of support for Mamata Banerjee, Kharge said that it was Mamata’s wish to leave the alliance. In many places, we are not contesting elections together. After the elections, we will see whether she will support from inside or from outside.
If Congress forms the government then what will they do about the cases against the leaders?
He said, “I have not seen the case. When the government is formed, it will be looked into. Whatever has not been done as per the rules will be brought to the cabinet and will be done as per the rules. All cases will be looked into as per the law.”
Kharge spoke on PM’s statement on Mujra
He said, “This is a wrong statement. It is wrong to talk below the belt. He has been the PM for 10 years, giving such statements shows his mentality.
