Indrajit Rai: ABP News Executive Editor Indrajit Rai was honoured with the 11th International Bharat Gaurav Award. This award was given to him for his remarkable contribution in forensic journalism. The award ceremony was organised in the Senate (Parliament) of France.
Indrajit is India’s first and the world’s longest serving forensic journalist. Apart from Indrajit Rai, Padma Bhushan Kamlesh D Patel, Padma Shri Sudhir Shah, Mrs. Batul Begum who was awarded the Nari Shakti Samman by former President Ramnath Kovind, Manish Tripathi who designed Ram Lalla’s clothes in Ayodhya, National Film Award winner Annu Kapoor, as well as those Indians living in 18 countries who have brought pride to themselves and their country on the international stage were honoured.
Honoured with International Bharat Gaurav Award
This honour was given to Indrajit Rai by the Vice President of French Parliament Dr. Dominique Theophile, French MP Frederic Buval, President of International Bharat Gaurav Award Organization Suresh Mishra. Representatives of French government, MPs and officials of Indian Embassy along with many other dignitaries were present in the ceremony. This award is given every year by Indian Culture Institute.
Indian Embassy officials congratulated
During the ceremony, officials of the Indian Embassy congratulated the awardees, calling the relations between India and France historic. Dr. Dominique Theophile, Vice President of the French Parliament, said that the world has recognized the talent of the people of India and France, people of both countries are constantly working for the betterment of the world. Suresh Mishra, while congratulating everyone, said that Indians have succeeded in getting their capabilities recognized all over the world, this honor is a way to salute their success.
