The breaker has caused many accidents in the state, in which many people have died. In view of the increasing number of deaths due to falling from breakers, the Supreme Court issued an order asking to remove breakers from all the roads in the state. But despite this, a youth riding a bike died in Samastipur due to a breaker on the road. The incident took place in Shobhan Vasantpur village of Khanpur police station area. The deceased youth was Kishan Kumar Das (25), son of Kedar Das of the village.

Came home from Delhi to attend son’s Chhathi celebration

Kedar Das, father of the deceased, told that his son Kishan worked in a private factory in Delhi. Kishan had a son ten days ago. Because of this, it was Chhathi three days ago. Kishan had reached Samastipur from Delhi to attend his son’s Chhathi. He told that at around 9 pm he was going towards the chowk on bike. During this time, he became unbalanced on the brakes in the village, due to which he collided with an electric pole on the roadside. He was seriously injured after hitting the pole. When the noise was heard, the family members gathered there and hurriedly took him to Khanpur PHC, where the doctor declared him dead. The family members informed the police about the incident. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and sent the body to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
